Top of the Morning to You!
As promised, today I present to you 8 additional Metacognitive Learning Strategies I discuss in my book "Crush School: Every Student's Guide To Killing It In The Classroom."
I wrote the book as if I were having a conversation with a student reader, because I want teachers to have a tool that "speaks" the student language. My hope was to write a bite-sized guide any teacher, parent, and student can pick up and use immediately. There are no prerequisites here. Grab "Crush School," read a 5 minute chapter, and add to your teaching arsenal. Or, hand the book (or parts of it) to your students and point them to a strategy they will find helpful right now.
But even if you choose not to grab a copy for yourself, I want you to have access to the strategies it contains. To that end, I've created a series of infographics that showcase 24 brain based (metacognitive) strategies you can use and share with anyone. This is part 2. Enjoy!
Right click on the infographic above and download it completely free to use however you please.
If you'd like some examples and descriptions designed for students specifically, check out Crush School on Amazon. You can read it for free with Kindle Unlimited, or purchase for $9.99.
I describe the strategies in more detail in "Crush School," but keep each chapter brief and to the point. No blah. I promise.
If you absolutely cannot afford to buy the book, please email me at oskar.cymerman@gmail.com and I'll email you a copy.
Stay tuned for the final 8 strategies or SIGN UP for my NEWSLETTER and I'll drop them straight in your email inbox.
And I want you to always remember this when you look into the eyes of a child you teach:
You have the power to change the world. Use it often.
