Beyond PowerPoint: Adobe Spark Videos
Happy Monday Friend!
I recently read a blog post by Claudio Zavala Jr. 10 Adobe Spark Classroom Ideas and was inspired to create...
Adobe Spark is a suite of online tools anyone can use for free to create digital media such as memes, announcements, invitations, websites, portfolios, journals, catalogs, videos and more. Check out the 30 second video I made below.
I've never used Adobe Spark tools before, but it took no longer than 30 minutes to make the video above. I like how easy to learn and use the tools are. The free version gives you just enough tools (text, pictures, icons, frame time control, voice over capability, and soundtrack) to make the videos look professional while making them remains intuitive.
All you have to do is go to https://spark.adobe.com sign in with your Google account and start creating! It's quick and easy and your students can do the same. Click on the links below to see a couple videos my students created on endothermic and exothermic reactions.

If you're like me, you notice that while useful, slideshows such as PowerPoint or Google Slides are overdone and sometimes just blah... So how about having students learn new more swag tools they'll be able to use in the future as well? Enter Adobe Spark.
Claudio is planning on releasing a series of blog posts breaking down each tool and showing how to go from zero to a finished product for each, so subscribe to his blog I Am Claudius if you want to be notified when he publishes a new blog.
You have the power to change the world. Use it often.
