How Not To Be An Entrepreneur - True Story
Let me be completely honest...
This is pretty embarrassing.
Okay. Fine. This is really embarrassing.
A little over a year ago I came up with the bright idea to make paper notebooks better. I know. In the era of "everything digital" I thought people needed a new awesome paper notebook to take notes in. I ran an unsuccessful crowdfunding campaign to fund this project. I think the Universe was giving me a hint, but I did not see it. So, I went ahead and asked my printer guy to print 2500 of my Cornell Notes on Steroids Notebooks. 500 planetary purple (yep that's a real color apparently...). 500 blue. 1500 black - can't go wrong with black right?
Do you have any idea what 2500 notebooks looks like?!?! It's hilarious. My boiler room is filled with boxes and there are some in my garage too. They are nice too. Laminated front cover, plastic spiral that resists deformation, and a supercharged Cornell Notes template inside. Seriously, who in their right mind would invest in a notebook that looks and feels nice? The thing is for writing right?
As part of my grand design, the notebooks retail for $6.49 each. I know, you can probably buy a cheap tablet for that on Kickstarter. So how about $3.99? Or less if you buy in bulk. Would you like one? Do you know someone who might need one? Or someone who loves getting school notebooks for Christmas?
I figured something out though. I'm a teacher not a notebook producer salesman person. I'm not going to become a millionaire selling notebooks. Bummer I know. But, I need these things gone. Badly.
Can you help?
