CRUSH SCHOOL

I blog on Brain-Based Learning, Metacognition, EdTech, and Social-Emotional Learning. I am the author of the Crush School Series of Books, which help students understand how their brains process information and learn. I also wrote The Power of Three: How to Simplify Your Life to Amplify Your Personal and Professional Success, but be warned that it's meant for adults who want to thrive and are comfortable with four letter words.

Master Teacher Toolkit: Next Time Privacy Policy

**Last updated: August 5, 2026**

Next Time is a private teacher reflection notebook. Your reflections are stored only on this device. Courses, units, lessons, reminders, and settings are also stored locally. Next Time does not upload or share reflection notes with administrators, schools, or other teachers.

Teachers may optionally enter an email address for free teaching ideas and Master Teacher Toolkit updates. The address is saved locally. If the teacher separately checks the newsletter consent box and the newsletter connection is enabled, the email address, opt-in choice, source, and submission time are sent to the Master Teacher Toolkit newsletter spreadsheet. Reflection notes are never sent.

The app provides JSON export and restore. Export files are not encrypted and should be kept private. Next Time does not host or automatically sync backup files between devices.

Teachers can delete local data by deleting the app or clearing its app data. Newsletter data deletion requests can be sent to oskar@crushschool.com. Teachers should avoid entering student names, grades, health information, or other sensitive personal information into reflections.

The published policy is available at `/privacy-policy` in the app site and at https://crushschool.com/mtt-next-time-privacy-policy.
